Job Description:
As part of a collaborative technology team, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications using PHP
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs
- Design, develop, and optimise MySQL databases
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in production environments
- Participate in application architecture, testing, deployments, and documentation
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint
Online, and OneDrive
- Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Hybrid Identity, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows Server environments
- Support IIS web servers, SSL certificates, and web application hosting
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell
- Provide technical support across Microsoft technologies and end-user environments
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude to improve development efficiency
Skills & Experience:
We're looking for someone with experience in most of the following:
- PHP (essential)
- JavaScript
- HTML5 & CSS (Tailwind CSS advantageous)
- SQL / MySQL
- REST API development
- Git version control
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint Online
- Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Windows Server
- IIS Web Server Administration
- SSL Certificates
- PowerShell scripting
- Remote support and troubleshooting
Advantageous Experience:
Experience with any of the following will be highly beneficial:
- Python
- Docker
- Linux
- Microsoft Graph API
- API integrations
- AI integration and automation
- Bash scripting
Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field
- Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, MS-900, MD-102, or SC-900 are advantageous
- Minimum 3 years' commercial development experience
