About the Role

Formitize is looking for a talented and experienced backend PHP developer to join our team located in Gregory Hills in Sydney’s South West. The right candidate should be a fast learner and self‑motivated. The role will help maintain our current monolithic SaaS platform and assist with support, bug fixes and integrations. The ability to troubleshoot, investigate and resolve issues ranging from simple to complex is essential. While joining us at our office is an important part of our company and team culture, we offer flexible work‑from‑home arrangements.

About You

• 3+ years of industry experience using PHP and MySQL.
• Proficient at writing performant, maintainable and testable code.
• Essential skills: Git, jQuery, HTML5, CSS.
• Desirable: experience with distributed microservices and a working knowledge of modern JavaScript stacks including Node.js, React and Redux.
• Enjoys working in a dynamic team of developers on exciting solutions while innovating and creating awesome solutions for clients.
