ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with at least 2 years of experience to join our backend engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the server-side components of our high-frequency trading platforms.

You will work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration; therefore, a strong working knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script) with a preference for the Bootstrap framework is required to bridge the gap between backend logic and UI presentation.

POSITION DETAILS:

Location: Coimbatore, India (On-site) Experience: 2+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Job Timings: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient server-side code using PHP. Frontend Integration: Collaborate closely with front-end teams, leveraging HTML, CSS, Java Script, and Bootstrap to seamlessly integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Architecture: Design and implement scalable database schemas and RESTful APIs for internal and client-facing platforms. Integration: Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and trading APIs into our core systems. Optimization: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to ensure low-latency responses. Security: Implement robust security practices to protect sensitive financial data and prevent vulnerabilities. Collaboration & Maintenance: Work within an Agile environment, participating in code reviews, managing documentation, and utilizing version control (Git).

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Core Backend Skills: Strong proficiency in PHP 8.x and modern PHP frameworks (Laravel or Code Igniter preferred). Frontend Skills: Solid working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, and AJAX. Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with the Bootstrap framework is highly preferred. Databases: Solid experience with My SQL or Postgre SQL (query optimization, indexing, and database design). Tools: Proficiency in Git version control and familiarity with Linux/Unix environments. Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex issues and refactor legacy code for better performance. Mindset: A proactive approach to learning new technologies and adapting to the fast-paced fintech domain.
