Our client is a dynamic, young company (5yrs) based in JHB North. They are a fast-growing Fin Tech and looking for an intermediate or senior level PHP Plugin Developer, who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting custom e Commerce plugins for Woo Commerce and Magento platforms.
This role involves close collaboration with the Integration team to ensure seamless integration with payment gateways and third-party services, while providing ongoing support to merchants. The developer will play a key role in delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable plugins, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Responsibilities Build and update e-commerce plugins for Woo Commerce, Magento, Open Cart and Presta Shop to improve platform function and 3rd-party integrations. Assist merchants with plugin installations, configurations, and troubleshooting issues that arise post-deployment. Collaboration with Integration team & cross functional collaboration with other development teams as well (Back end, frontend, QA). Code Quality and Best Practice. E-commerce platform expertise. Requirements Strong proficiency in PHP, particularly e Commerce plugin development.
