Job OverviewWe are looking for a talented and motivated PHP/Shopify Developer to join our team.
This role involves working across both frontend and backend systems, contributing to the development and maintenance of our in-house platform as well as Shopify-based e-commerce platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain our in-house platform using PHP, both frontend and backendBuild, customize, and optimize Shopify themes and appsWork across full-stack development (frontend + backend)Design and optimize database structures using MySQL / MariaDBCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutionsWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient codeTroubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systemsStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practicesRequirements3-5 years of experience in PHP developmentExperience with Shopify theme and/or app developmentProven experience in full-stack developmentFamiliarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Strong experience with MySQL and/or MariaDBAbility to switch between custom platform development and Shopify ecosystem is highly preferredGood command of English for effective communicationStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAvailability to have daily working hours overlapping with UTC 00: *:00 (CST 08: *:00)Experience using AI coding tools (e.G., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude Code) to improve productivityNice to HaveFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrationsPersonal AttributesEagerness to learn and work across different platforms (in-house + Shopify)Open to adopting AI-assisted development workflowsProactive, responsible, and a strong team playerPay: Up to $40, per monthWork Location: Remote#J- *-Ljbffr
