EdgeTier is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who wants to do some of the best work of their career. This is a hands‑on role within our backend team with real ownership. AI coding agents are part of our everyday workflow, and we're looking for someone who knows how to direct, review, and get the best out of those tools — not someone who treats them as a shortcut. We care about the quality of the output, not just the speed of it. Translating product requirements into detailed technical specifications and owning delivery end‑to‑end from design through implementation, testing, and release. Architecting changes to EdgeTier's core product including APIs, services, and databases. Writing high quality and well structured Python code while holding a high standard in code reviews. Directing and critically reviewing AI coding agent output to ensure quality. Monitoring application performance and error logs. Mentoring junior engineers.
