Core Skills
- Expertise in DB2 UDB or PL/SQL with writing complex data retrieval queries and stored procedures
- Expertise in Linux/Unix Shell Scripting
- Solid experience with Python / PERL.
- Good knowledge of Autosys or any similar scheduling tool
- Knowledge and good understanding of object-oriented programming
- Detail oriented, ability to turn deliverables around quickly with high degree of accuracy
- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret business requirements and produce functional and technical design documents
- Good time management skills – ability to prioritize and multi-task, handling multiple efforts at once
- Strong desire to understand and learn domain
Desired Skills
- Experience in Green Plum
- Experience with Informatica
- Experience in a financial services/banking industry
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, equivalent field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in developing queries, scripts, and procedures with DB2 UDB or PL/SQL database.
