Role: PL/SQL Developer
Location: Montreal, QC -Canada
Required Skills
· Expertise in DB2 or PL/SQL UDB with writing complex data retrieval queries and stored procedures
· Expertise in Linux/Unix Shell Scripting
· Solid experience with Python / PERL.
· Good knowledge of Autosys or any similar scheduling tool
· Knowledge and good understanding of object-oriented programming
· Detail oriented, ability to turn deliverables around quickly with high degree of accuracy
· Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret business requirements and produce functional and technical design documents
· Good time management skills – ability to prioritize and multi-task, handling multiple efforts at once
· Strong desire to understand and learn domain
Desired Skills
· Experience in Green Plum
· Experience with Informatica
· Experience in a financial services/banking industry
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, equivalent field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in developing queries, scripts, and procedures with DB2 or PL/SQL UDB database.
A good PL/SQL developer with good command over Unix would also be okay as long as they are open to working on DB2.
