Job Title: Systems Analyst - Intermediate (Data Systems Analyst / Senior SQL Oracle Developer)
Location: Providence, RI (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Likely Extension)

Only candidates currently local to Rhode Island (RI) or Massachusetts (MA) will be considered. This is a 100% onsite position in Providence, RI with no remote or hybrid option available. Non-local candidates, relocation candidates, and remote candidates will not be considered. Candidates must be able to work onsite from day one.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior SQL Oracle Developer who has a passion for data analysis, software development, and learning new technologies. The selected candidate will work closely with technical leads and business stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and support database-driven solutions and reporting systems.
Required Skills:
Database and Programming Proficiency
- 8 to 10+ years of Oracle Database experience
- Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development including DML and DDL
- Advanced SQL query development and optimization
- Strong database and SQL performance tuning experience
- Experience working with very large datasets
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS)
- Experience with data modeling
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Understanding of ETL processes and tools such as Informatica or Pentaho
Development Tools and Methodologies
- Experience with source code repositories such as Git
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Knowledge of relational database design and database security
- Experience with TOAD, SQL Developer, SQL Navigator, or similar database tools
Technical and Analytical Skills
- Knowledge of UML and system documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Healthcare, Integrated Eligibility, SNAP, TANF, or Medicaid environments
- Experience developing regulatory or federal reports
- Data validation, quality assurance, and referential integrity experience
- Experience with Jira and ServiceNow
- Advanced Tableau reporting and visualization skills
- Oracle certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and XP
Additional Technical Skills
- Experience with XML, CSS, and JavaScript technologies
- Exposure to frameworks such as Angular, React, Node.js, or jQuery
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education and 8 to 10 years of relevant experience will be considered.
