Senior Oracle / PL-SQL developer-integrator, 7–10+ years, with strong DB schema design, advanced PL/SQL, query and performance tuning, ETL best practice, and Git version control.
A strong differentiator would be bank Risk & Finance background, including Basel pillars, RWA / credit-risk calculation, and MDRM / regulatory report mapping. UI skills such as Java, Angular, or Oracle APEX, and French, would be a plus.
Client call notes:
No banking environment experience is required. The developer will be asked to create objects in the database (tables/triggers, etc.) and to rely on existing PL/SQL procedures (in-house ETL tool) to populate tables and move data from one table to another. This work will rely on specifications provided by BA (excel spreadsheet showing the list of tables with data elements and the transformation required). Performance analysis for data transformations will be key as we manage large volume of data. This analysis might lead to creation of new functions or procedures to improve the existing ETL framework. Knowledge of Autosys/JIL is important, if not, a quick learner with strong analytical skills would be fine. Communication is key as the developer will spend a majority of his mornings with our ISPL team (including for the training/onboarding part). Developer might be asked to develop new tools linked to overall consistency of the application (for example encapsulate oracle functionalities to make sure usage complies with the design of the application, control tools to make sure objects/function/procedures (=>developments) follow guidelines of the application in terms of design and naming convention). Knowledge of multi-tenant database would be a plus as we are starting our migration second half of the year with a lot of tools to adapt.
