Zensar is looking for PL/SQL with Compass Experience in Johannesburg

Required Skills Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Compass Developer with strong PL/SQL and configuration expertise to support development, customization, and maintenance of financial applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Compass platform configuration , along with strong database programming skills in Oracle PL/SQL . Key Responsibilities Configure and customize Compass modules and components as per business requirements. Develop and maintain Compass configurations (product setup, workflows, parameters, rules, and controls) . Design and develop PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and functions . Work on data mapping, configuration-driven setups, and system integrations . Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into configurations and technical solutions . Perform SQL query optimization and performance tuning . Support production issues, incident management, and defect fixes . Participate in system testing, UAT support, and deployments . Ensure compliance with coding standards, configuration governance, and audit requirements . Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Compass platform (development + configuration) . Experience in Compass configuration areas such as: Product setup Workflow configuration Business rules / parameterization Screen/config UI setup (if applicable) Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development . Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and database design . Experience in banking/financial services domain . Ability to handle configuration-driven implementations and enhancements . Experience in production support and incident management .
