- Understand business scenarios and application requirements to design and develop appropriate PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers based on functional needs and problem statements.
- Write optimized SQL queries for high-volume transactional systems.
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Implement exception handling, transaction management, and secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, deployments, and technical documentation. Strong Oracle/Mysql PL/SQL development experience
- Expertise in SQL query writing and optimization
- Knowledge of Joins, Indexes, Views, and Execution Plans
- Filtering conditions using WHERE clause, usage of NOT IN to derive the required results
- String manipulation functions, Data Type conversions
- Optimize performance/techniques during MERGE operation
- Understanding of Performance Tuning and Transactions
- Hands-on experience with SQL Developer tools
- Advanced concepts [Focused on Section 2, Verbal]
- Data Consolidation (Transform data from multiple tables into consolidated format)
- Pipelined table function in PL/SQL and best practices
- Nested blocks and scope of the variables
- Recursive calls
- Very Important: Experience with Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, and Triggers
