What you need to know
As part of our Data and Digital Services Department, the Business Intelligence & Insights team supports the accessibility, useability, and application of critical data supporting the Bank’s core mandates, including monetary policy, the financial system, currency, funds management, and retail payments supervision as well as Corporate Administration.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Analytics Developer to lead the end-to-end architecture design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade advanced analytics platform solutions across the full lifecycle, from ingestion to consumption.
This role combines platform architecture leadership (with a focus on Fabric) and deep expertise in data engineering, modelling and business intelligence to build scalable, resilient and high-performing data solutions that drive actionable insight across operational and corporate functions.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will tackle complex, ambiguous data challenges, shape platform direction, and enable trusted, organization-wide analytics across multiple critical domains. You bring a collaborative mindset and play a key role in mentoring and guiding colleagues, strengthening team capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Your education and experience
This position requires a university degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering or economics (with strong data science coursework preferred), along with 6-7 years of relevant experience, including at least 5-6 years in developing end-to-end, enterprise-grade data products. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues.
