Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Debug and validate platform hardware and firmware components.
- Analyze PCIe Gen5 link training, enumeration, and connectivity issues.
- Investigate system failures using logs, telemetry, Redfish, and IPMI tools.
- Support provisioning pipelines, firmware updates, and compliance validation.
- Perform root cause analysis for platform stability, performance, and reliability issues.
- Troubleshoot FPGA, CPLD, BMC, BIOS, GPU-specific firmware-related issues.
- Validate rack-level telemetry, cooling systems, power sequencing, and sensor health.
- Develop automation and debug tools using Python and scripting languages.
- Collaborate with Silicon, BMC, Fabric, and Validation teams.
- Document findings and track issues through JIRA/Azure DevOps (ADO).
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of server hardware and platform architecture.
- Experience with PCIe high-speed interconnects and firmware debugging.
- Knowledge of Redfish, IPMI, Linux, and hardware diagnostics.
- Experience with log analysis, root cause investigation, and platform validation.
