Position Summary
We are seeking a Platform Engineer with strong Python backend development experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable platform services and backend applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.
- Build scalable, secure, and reliable platform components and APIs.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation where applicable.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Python backend development.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of Git and CI/CD practices.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
