Overview

Senior Siemens TIA Portal Engineer – Contract position in Italy.

The project involves development and commissioning of advanced automated plants incorporating robotics and PLC-controlled machinery, with strong potential for ongoing work across subsequent plants.

Responsibilities

• Travel across Italy covering both development and commissioning phases.
• Work with robotics and PLC‑controlled machinery in an advanced manufacturing environment.
• Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) across development and commissioning phases.

Essential Qualifications

• 10+ years of PLC/controls engineering experience.
• Strong hands‑on Siemens TIA Portal programming skills.
• Fluent Italian speaker.
• Experience with FAT/SAT and machine commissioning.
• Right to work in Italy.

Desirable Skills

• Profinet / S7 1500 WinCC or HMI development.
• Safety PLC (TIA Safety / STEP 7 Safety).
• Robotics integration.
