Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. The team is seeking to hire a Senior Technical Program Manager who will lead the technical planning, coordination, and implementation of multiple programs across this new initiative. Manage the lifecycle (architecture, design, implementation, documentation and measurement) of the teams that are delivering for the programs you manage. As a Sr Technical Program manager, you will work alongside other Program Managers, Product Managers, and Engineers to drive key business initiatives. Collaborate with teams across Amazon on the planning and execution of complex and highly-technical projects with high impact and visibility.
Key job responsibilities:
- Manage complex Product Lifecycle Management PDM/PLM/MCAD and ECAD system implementation projects
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product and feature requirements across MCAD, ECAD, Manufacturing, and SAP domains.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage escalations or mis-alignments when there are risks to delivering committed services with high quality; manages tradeoff decisions with key stakeholders.
- Work with stakeholder teams to determine the appropriate escalation, review process, and resolution for delivery blockers.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
