For our Group Headquarters, we are looking for a Power Electronics Hardware Design Engineer reporting to the Hardware and Design Manager.


The role actively contributes to the design, verification, and validation of products by performing hardware design and verification activities in accordance with company guidelines. The position also supports the sharing of technical know-how within the department and contributes to its continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the hardware development process for new products throughout their entire lifecycle, including requirements definition, prototype development, product qualification for mass production, and subsequent product improvements and modifications.


  1. Assess the feasibility of customer requirements in collaboration with Sales and Technical teams.
  2. Prepare and maintain hardware specifications.
  3. Design electrical and electronic hardware for prototypes in accordance with internal development processes and design standards.
  4. Define and execute prototype verification activities and laboratory testing.
  5. Support product validation and industrialization activities.
  6. Provide technical support to customers.
  7. Assist in the preparation of product operation and maintenance manuals.
  8. Support the organization and delivery of technical training courses both onsite and at customer locations.
  9. Participate in industry exhibitions and trade fairs to maintain technical expertise and market awareness.


Education

Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering.

A final degree grade of 105/110 or above will be considered a preferred qualification.


Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of power electronics hardware design principles.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, and similar applications.
  • Academic or professional experience in electric drives and power electronics hardware design (e.g. thesis projects, internships or research activities) will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (preferred).
  • Good written and spoken English.

0-3 years of experience

34-40k

Annual performance bonus linked to company objectives, equivalent to one month's base salary.


4-5 years of experience

40-55k
