Australian International School Hong Kong (AISHK) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Primary Strings Program Coordinator toestablishand lead a new strings programme for Year 3 students, launching in January 2027.
This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionatestringseducator with strong classroom teaching, ensembleleadershipand programme development skills to help design and deliver a high-quality instrumental music programme. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Performing Arts and Primary Arts Coordinator to develop the programme, recruit specialist teachingstaffand oversee its implementation.
The role willcommencewith a planning and development phase in Term 3, 2026. TheCoordinatorwill play a key role in shaping the programme from the ground up and ensuring its successful launch.

AISHK is also seeking specialist strings tutors in violin, viola, cello and double bass to teach beginner students in small groups within the programme. These positions will initially involve approximately two hours of teaching per week from January 2027,with the possibilityofadditionalprivate tuition opportunities.
