ResponsibilitiesLead the mechanical design and engineering of equipment, with a strong focus on food processing, aseptic and hot‑fill technologies, filling systems, and related process equipment.Participate in the design and development of complete aseptic and hot‑fill production systems, including filling equipment, CIP/SIP systems, and product handling solutions.Expand beyond component‑level design to drive system‑level engineering, integration, and optimization.Develop process concepts, P&IDs, equipment layouts, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.Apply expertise in aseptic processing, sterilization technologies, fluid dynamics, and hygienic design principles.Solve complex engineering challenges related to food safety, process performance, validation, and operational efficiency.Contribute to R&D initiatives and the development of next‑generation filling and processing solutions.Bridge the gap between engineering design and operational reality by continuously improving designs based on field experience and customer feedback.Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), commissioning, and start‑up activities.Ensure engineered solutions perform reliably and efficiently throughout their operational lifecycle.Collaborate closely with Mechanical Design, Automation, R&D, Project Management, Product Management, and Operations teams.Travel internationally to support commissioning, start‑ups, troubleshooting, and customer projects.Work directly with customers, suppliers, and OEM partners to ensure successful project execution.Provide on‑site technical support, troubleshooting, and process optimization.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or related process industries, with a focus on equipment design and engineering.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Strong proficiency in CAD software, preferably Solid Works.Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, process equipment, and manufacturing systems.Experience with aseptic processing, filling technologies, CIP/SIP systems, or hygienic equipment design is highly desirable.Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international environments.Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is considered an advantage.
