A Day in the Life

The Process Development Engineer Intern will support the engineering team in designing, optimizing, and validating manufacturing and business processes within a dynamic medical device environment. This internship offers hands-on experience in Design for Reliability and Manufacturability, process development, and continuous improvement initiatives. Interns will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies, methodologies, and Gemba activities, while developing skills in process design, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The role also provides valuable networking opportunities and mentorship from experienced engineers and highly skilled subject matter experts.
Internship details:
• Start date: October 2026
• Location: Tolochenaz
• Duration: 6 months
• Working hours: 40 hours per week
• Working model: on-site
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Support process validation activities, including data collection, analysis, and documentation
• Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate process changes and their impact
• support develop and qualify a robust test method, including close collaboration with mechanical service group for tooling development
• support execute Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to ensure method reliability
• help draft all associated Work Instructions to support implementation and long-term operational use


Required Knowledge:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, Microtechnology, Biomedical) or related field
• Fluency in French and English, with strong verbal & written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Would be a plus:
• Familiarity with process mapping, statistical analysis, tool development
