The Impact You'll Make
As our Process Engineer, you’ll play a key role in providing process engineering expertise in support of the development and design of production lines/equipments, optimization of old equipment/processes, and debottlenecking projects and enable safe and efficient production of low-cost, high-quality products.
What You’ll Be Doing
- New production line installation and Set up
- Improve, characterize and develop manufacturing processes for existing products as well as New Product Introductions (NPI)
- Drive and coordinate LEAN initiative, and engage Six Sigma tools for process improvements
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout
- Initiate and support the procurement and introduction of necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing NPIs and for process improvements
- Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety on the shop floor
- Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget
- Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed
- Assure that all engineering designs and technical data are complete and accurately documented to provide an technical / historical base for future reference and to meet customer / end user requirements
- Support the preparation of product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians / manufacturing associates
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, electrical, mechatronics or automation or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in power semiconductor manufacturing environment working with production processes and equipment. Advanced experience in Wire bonding and X-ray testing is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experienced at Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or similar.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Understand ISO9000 and ISO14000 system, familiar with SPC, PFMEA,CP and other tools are preferred.
