Process Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Process Engineer.

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, proactive problem solver to work with a diverse global team building innovative new solutions and providing support to our sales teams and customers.

The position will be based in Porto Mantovano (MN).

• Design and develop innovative bioreactors, fermenters and downstream bioprocessing equipment for Biotech, Pharma and Food and Beverage industry.
• Apply industry and engineering knowledge to innovate and solve complex customer challenges and create competitive advantage.
• Developing technical documentation such as: layouts, PFD’s, P&ID’s, mass and energy balances, URS and/or technical specifications, fluid list and consumption.
• Capability of hydraulic sizing of lines and main process equipment (pumps, heat exchangers, agitation groups, valves, etc..).
• Carry out engineering design according to cGMP, pharmaceutical technical regulation and local regulations.
• Commissioning and final testing at manufacturing and customer site.

Up to 10%

• Master’s degree in chemical/process/pharmaceutical engineering.
• +3 years’ experience as Engineer in a bioprocessing, food and beverage or pharma industry.
• Language: English B1

• Engineering: Pilot plant design, Open/Closed Loop, Fluid technologies knowledge (Pumping & regulation, temperature transfer & regulation, etc.), Instruments technologies knowledge: (electromagnetic, massic, etc.), P&ID, Autocad 2D, Generating bill of material, Detailed functional analysis, plant commissioning, QI/QO/QP
• Strong presentation skills
• Language skills: Italian and English
