Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer
Our client is a family-owned manufacturing company that has experienced significant growth in recent years, expanding its workforce and investing heavily in its operations. The organization designs and manufactures custom generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and electrical housings that support critical backup power and infrastructure applications.
Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, throughput, and quality
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and process optimization
Support implementation and enhancement of ERP, MES, and SCADA systems
Identify process bottlenecks and develop solutions to improve operational performance
Manage and execute manufacturing improvement projects from planning through implementation
Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and leadership teams to drive operational excellence
Develop process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to support decision-making and performance improvements
Ensure manufacturing processes align with quality and regulatory requirements
Support process automation and manufacturing technology initiatives as needed

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, process engineering, or continuous improvement environments
Experience working with ERP, MES, and/or SCADA systems
Proven project management experience within manufacturing operations
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to drive process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Six Sigma Certification
Experience with process simulation and data analysis tools
Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
Experience with process control and manufacturing automation technologies
Background in fabrication, industrial manufacturing, or engineered products environments
Salary range: $75,000 - $95,000
