TNexeo is currently looking for a Process Engineer – Invest & Financial Insurance to join the Investment & Financial Insurance team of one of our leading banking clients in Brussels.
You will join a dynamic investment and financial insurance environment within an Agile organization. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining end-to-end solutions for investment products, with a strong focus on digitalization, customer accessibility, operational efficiency and regulatory requirements.
You will work within the Advice Cluster, supporting the Contracting activities related to investment portfolio contracts, including contracting flows, legal aspects, pledging, donations, contract activation and contract addenda.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Process Engineer / Business Analyst with experience in investment products and process optimization who enjoys working autonomously, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders and contributing to continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities
Process Management & Optimization
- Define and implement new business processes and sub-processes in line with the bank's business architecture and strategic objectives.
- Analyze and improve existing processes with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and risk management.
- Regularly monitor and assess processes using KPIs, customer feedback, incidents and operational data.
- Identify process inefficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct detailed process analyses and improvement studies.
- Ensure that processes remain efficient, simple and aligned with the bank's strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure that processes are practical and effectively implemented on the ground.
Investment & Contracting Processes
- Analyze and optimize processes related to investment portfolio contracts.
- Work on contracting flows and related operational processes.
- Contribute to process improvements related to:
- Contracting flows
- Contract legal aspects
- Pledging
- Donations
- Contract activation
- Contract addenda
- Ensure that business processes properly address customer, operational, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and digitize investment-related processes.
Business & IT Collaboration
- Act as a key interface between Business, IT, Operations and other stakeholders.
- Translate business and process requirements into clear needs for application changes.
- Contribute to the definition and testing of IT application changes impacting business processes.
- Participate in solution design and validation during ideation phases.
- Ensure that proposed solutions meet customer and employee needs while remaining aligned with the bank's strategy.
- Contribute to solutions that improve simplicity, efficiency, lean processes and risk management.
Documentation & Governance
- Create and maintain clear, simple and easy-to-use process documentation.
- Standardize processes and ensure consistent implementation across operational teams.
- Maintain documentation required to support incident resolution and future process changes.
- Ensure processes and documentation comply with internal and external requirements.
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Permanent Control, General Inspection and other control functions when required.
Change Management & User Support
- Identify the change management needs associated with new or modified processes.
- Plan and execute change management activities to ensure successful adoption.
- Support employees and customers in understanding and adopting new processes and application changes.
- Prepare and coordinate communication, guidance and support activities.
- Provide post-implementation support and answer user questions.
- Follow up on issues and improvement opportunities after implementation.
Agile Way of Working
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary Agile Squad composed of Business, IT and other relevant expertise.
- Contribute actively to defining, building, testing and implementing products and services.
- Support the team in delivering user stories within planned sprints.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives and Quarterly Agile Planning.
- Estimate the scope and complexity of assigned activities.
- Organize work independently and prioritize activities according to business value.
- Contribute beyond your specific area of expertise to support overall squad objectives and sprint delivery.
Your Profile
- Proven experience as a Process Engineer, Business Analyst, Process Analyst or similar role.
- Previous experience in banking, investments, financial services or insurance.
- Strong understanding of business process management and optimization.
- Experience analyzing complex processes and translating business needs into practical solutions.
- Experience working with Business and IT stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
- Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned activities.
- Experience with change management and user adoption is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of investment products and/or financial insurance is highly appreciated.
Technical & Business Skills
Mandatory:
- Strong knowledge of business process analysis and optimization.
