Job Responsibilities:
Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize existing processes and workflows.
Conduct in-depth technical analysis of process data, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure ongoing enhancement of processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and industry standards.
Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that processes meet or exceed product quality specifications.
Develop and implement quality control procedures to monitor and maintain high standards.
Identify, develop, and lead capital projects based on business needs and contentious improvement observations.
Manage contractors associated with capital projects.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Identify and address potential safety hazards in the manufacturing processes.
Conduct cost analyses related to process changes and improvements.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining or improving product quality.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, changes, and improvements.
Provide training and support to production teams regarding new processes and changes.
Collaborate with operators and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
Evaluate and implement initiatives to minimize the environmental impact of manufacturing processes.

Essential Skills, Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering.
Preferred 1-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Project management experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with process simulation tools and statistical analysis methods.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards.
Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to quality
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (2D AutoCAD would be a plus)
