Responsibilities

  • Create/update process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, and work instructions for new products, processes, and engineering changes.
  • Conduct MTM‑UAS time studies, line balancing vs takt, and maintain layouts.
  • Implement technical changes, optimize processes, and ensure production efficiency.
  • Ensure ergonomic compliance per HSE standards.
  • Define, implement, and control process parameters for equipment and tools.
  • Specify and request equipment, tooling, and machinery from ECM analysis.
  • Drive more than 12 annual improvement ideas improving process efficiency.
  • Support packaging approvals and logistics flow design.
  • Maintain efficiency to corporate targets and define DL/IL headcount.
  • Implement controls, poka‑yokes, and validate work content.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, VDA, IATF 16949, ISO 14001.
  • Report equipment issues and cyber risks per IT requirements.

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related.
  • 5+ years automotive experience; 3+ years in a role similar.
  • Experience with Core tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA (AIAG/VDA).
  • Prior knowledge of Lean Manufacturing such as VSM, Kanban, 5S, JIT, TPM, Six Sigma, and Visual Management.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, Power BI, data analysis.
