Headcount Solutions are seeking to recruit an experiencedProcess Engineer (BIM) for one of our multinational clients in Kildare. Role Support the delivery of semiconductor facilities throughout the project lifecycle, from design coordination and BIM model development to installation, commissioning, and handover. Working closely with designers, construction teams, trade contractors, and client representatives, you will help ensure process systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have experience in BIM coordination, process systems design, and site engineering within semiconductor, cleanroom, or other advanced manufacturing environments. Responsibilities Coordinate process engineering and design activities across assigned semiconductor project areas. Develop, review, and maintain BIM models for process systems, ensuring accuracy, clash resolution, and alignment with design and construction requirements. Support the installation of process systems, including high-purity piping, specialty gas, chemical distribution, process waste systems, and tool hook-ups. Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and semiconductor standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, architectural, construction management, and tool installation personnel. Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols, contamination control requirements, and advanced manufacturing standards. Review technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and contractor proposals. Support commissioning and start-up activities, including testing, flushing, system verification, and documentation. Maintain accurate project documentation, BIM model updates, and as-built records. Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all project activities. Qualifications & Experience Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Experience delivering process systems on large-scale industrial, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing projects. Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent modelling and coordination tools. Experience working in a site-based engineering role on major construction projects. Knowledge of semiconductor process systems, including high-purity piping, specialty gas and chemical distribution systems, and cleanroom environments is desirable. Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BIM models. Understanding of commissioning processes, construction quality standards, and site quality assurance practices.
