Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineering Sr Manager (SMT) located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Director, Operations Engineering, the role is responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
Establish and improve process capabilities.
Develop and maintain process documentation.
Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
Improve throughput in constrained areas.
Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
Experience & Qualifications
BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience as a Process Engineering Manager or Senior Process Engineer.
Strong experience in SMT manufacturing processes, from solder paste printing through final assembly, including critical and advanced assemblies with high levels of automation.
Extensive technical background in process engineering, with strong problem‐solving and optimization capabilities.
Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency, able to effectively communicate with customers and deliver presentations.
Proven experience in people management, including leading and developing engineering teams.
Hands‐on experience implementing Poka‐Yoke (error‐proofing) solutions.
Experience with liquid cooling technologies is a plus.
