Process Operator
Join our team!! Our client is looking for a Process Operator that will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of food manufacturing equipment used in the production of extruded protein/grain crisps and rice flours/blends. This role requires the ability to set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure product quality, efficiency, and compliance with all food safety standards. Must be able to work rotating schedule every 2 weeks; 12 hour shifts-4 days on, 4 days off.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in food processing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate and troubleshoot complex machinery.
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations, including HACCP and GMPs.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations with accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various environmental conditions, including potential exposure to dust, noise, and temperature extremes.
- Forklift experience and certification may be required.
