Processing Operator
Our client, an industry leader in snack manufacturing, is seeking a Processing Operator to join their team. As a Processing Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Chambersburg, PA
Pay Range: $20.25
Shift: 11pm - 7am
What's the Job?
- Unloading raw product and loading it into hoppers for peeling
- Running the peeler station in the basement and monitoring its performance
- Sorting out defective product and foreign materials before they hit the line
- Communicating with kettle operators to stay on track with production
- Managing hopper levels to ensure a consistent product flow
What's Needed?
- Ability to work in a warm, noisy, fast-moving environment
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and stay active for entire shift
- A focus on safety, cleanliness, and doing the job right
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with machinery or food production is helpfulbut not required
