Are you ready to contribute to a groundbreaking initiative? We are seeking individuals interested in working with streamlining a time-consuming task performed within the Chrome browser, specifically related to "Depth Correction" using our online proprietary geological software for QA/QC of geologic data.
Key attributes we value include:
- Proficiency in Experience working with computer software
- Genuine interest in the field of Geology, Mining Engineering, or related fields
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Availability to work weekends and early in the mornings or late in the evenings as needed
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this entry-level role, you'll need the following skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate of geology, engineering or a data-related discipline
- Experience with web-based data processing or QA/QC workflows (desirable)
- Familiarity with geological concepts and terminology (desirable)
- Previous experience in mineralogy or applied mineralogy is an asset
- Geotechnical and geological logging (desirable)
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with our interdisciplinary team
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Capacity to work independently while contributing to team goals.
- Proven experience in performing repetitive work
- Proficient in browser-based tasks, particularly using Chrome
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
