Are you a proactive problem solver with strong scripting and batch-scheduling experience looking for your next remote opportunity? We are expanding our Production Control team and looking for a reliable, independent professional to ensure the high availability and smooth operation of our enterprise production systems!
Location: 100% Work From Home (WFH)
Shift Schedule: 17:00 – 01:00 GMT (Note: Weekend on-call rota and Saturday/Sunday availability required as part of support)
Urgency: Priority Role – Candidates with a short notice period (under 15 days) are strongly preferred!
What You'll Do
- Keep Systems Running: Ensure the seamless execution of automated production processes and maintain the overall health of core services.
- Incident Management: Respond to alerts, troubleshoot technical roadblocks, and drive resolution or escalation when needed.
- Batch & File Operations: Coordinate and maintain day-to-day batch processing and file transmission schedules to hit strict SLAs.
- Vendor Collaboration: Partner with third-party vendors and support providers to resolve complex technical hurdles.
- Documentation: Keep production processes, configurations, and troubleshooting playbooks accurate and up to date.
Mandatory Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in production support or operations.
- Batch Scheduling Mastery: Hands-on experience with scheduling tools and systems (e.g., Autosys ). ( Key priority for day-to-day tasks!)
- Database Fundamentals: Solid working knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing application data.
- Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell .
- Troubleshooting Pro: Strong background in system monitoring, root-cause analysis, and incident management.
- Language: B2 English proficiency for seamless communication.
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior background in Banking or Financial Services domains.
- Exceptional self-management skills and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to work independently or within a global team.
