Northrop Grumman manufactures some of the world's most technically advanced products. There are a myriad of job functions associated with the manufacture of our products that range from machinists, engineers, operation program managers, and quality inspectors. The Operations, Planning, and Control (OPC) team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Production Controller 2 based out of Salt Lake City, UT.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintains schedules for material requirements and availability for the manufacture of industrial and commercial products to support production control. Compiles records concerning quantity, cost, and type of material received, shipped, in stock or inventory, and/or in production.
- Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
- Assists in determining possible and actual shortages may initiate action to correct these deficiencies.
- Uses knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering departments to alert proper authorities regarding potential problems and appropriate remedial action. Estimates and logs production rate and time expenditures and may be required to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED and 2 years additional education and/or experience.
- Functional understanding of Microsoft Office Products.
- Strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience with SAP.
Salary Range: $34,500.00 - $57,500.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
