Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer with 7+ years of application support experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, and ensuring the stability and availability of production applications built using Java Spring Boot and ReactJS. The role requires strong problem‑solving skills and experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for applications built on Java Spring Boot and ReactJS.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and application issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor application health and ensure high system availability.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets through ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues.
- Support release deployments and CI/CD processes.
- Maintain operational documentation and knowledge articles in Confluence.
- Track and manage work items using JIRA.
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory Skills
7+ years of experience in Production Support.
Hands‑on experience supporting applications developed using:
Java Spring Boot
ReactJS
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience with
- ServiceNow
- JIRA
- Confluence
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Strong understanding of:
Core Java
Spring Boot Framework
ReactJS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced production support environment.
