Program Advisor | ICT Programs & Projects | Contract

We are seeking an experienced Program Advisor to support the delivery of multiple programs and projects within a large, complex environment for a 12 Month Contract.

This role will suit someone with strong program/project coordination experience, excellent attention to detail, and confidence working across governance, scheduling, reporting, financial tracking, risks, issues, and stakeholder engagement.

You will work closely with Program Managers, Project Managers, and multidisciplinary delivery teams to ensure program and project information is accurate, well-managed, and aligned to delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for:

  • Providing program and project delivery support across multiple initiatives.
  • Supporting delivery within PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, or similar project/program frameworks.
  • Assisting with the preparation, review, and quality assurance of key artefacts such as business cases, initiation documents, project/program documentation, and status reports.
  • Coordinating governance forums, including agendas, minutes, presentations, reports, and decision records.
  • Supporting and maintaining project and program schedules.
  • Reviewing schedules with managers and ensuring resources are accurately requested and allocated.
  • Supporting timesheet and effort allocation across project/program activities.
  • Preparing and reconciling financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, actuals, variances, and billing information.
  • Maintaining and monitoring risk, issue, and change registers.
  • Building strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, governance, and reporting.
  • Supporting quarterly KPI delivery aligned to the role.

About You To be successful, you will bring:

  • Experience in a Program Advisor, Project Advisor, Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst, Program Support, or similar delivery support role.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Project, Project Online, or similar scheduling/resource management tools.
  • Strong Microsoft Office capability.
  • Experience working in public sector and/or large, complex organisational environments.
  • Understanding of project/program frameworks such as PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, or similar.
  • Strong governance, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple initiatives.
  • Experience working in an ICT project or program delivery environment.

Work Arrangements This role requires a hybrid working arrangement, with office attendance expected for a portion of the working week. Castledine Location.
