Job DetailsJob Location: 1175 GATES AVENUE - BROOKLYN, NY 11221Position Type: Part TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $20.72 - $20.72 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: Day ShiftJob Category: Nonprofit - Social Services ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUnder the general supervision of the Friendly Visiting Coordinator, the Program Assistant is responsible for assisting in all administrative/clerical tasks at the program. Additionally, the Program Assistant will assist with recruiting volunteers, client follow-ups, and outreach, while providing support for all programming at the Friendly Visiting Program. Specific duties and responsibilities include: Assist with the volunteer recruitment process i.e., screening, reference checks, etc.Assist with monitoring calls to clients and volunteers as neededAssist with data entry i.e., case notes, units, etc.Assist with organizing, filing, copying, scanning, faxing, mailing, etc. Assist with the coordination and expedition of volunteer recognition events.Assist with volunteer outreach within and outside of the catchment area.Assist in the collection of units of service from volunteers.Other related duties as required by the Friendly Visiting Coordinator and Management.
