Position Description

Advertised Job Summary - The program assistant supports the organization and delivery of the programs and services of the Center for Teaching Excellence. This position reports to the Program Manager of Operations and Faculty Events. The position assists with and coordinates professional development activities for USC educators. This position handles CTE purchasing, procurement, and travel reimbursements and meets regularly with administration to discuss spending and projections. The program assistant also handles some human resources procedures. This position will also provide program development and administrative support for CTE staff.

Qualifications - High School Diploma and two years of relevant program experience; experience with purchasing; familiarity with software systems; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
