Senior Program Associate

We are seeking a mission-driven Senior Program Associate to support the delivery of a high-visibility initiative supporting a defense sector client. In this role, you'll work alongside program leadership to help develop and operate a high-tempo capability that identifies mission needs, scouts solutions, and drives integration into operational environments. The ideal candidate brings both strong execution skills and the ability to think strategically-capable of translating big-picture objectives into concrete deliverables and coordinating across multiple stakeholders. You'll balance independent work with close collaboration, ensuring our delivery is timely, high-quality, and mission-focused. At a high level, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting federal client engagements across the US government

General duties include:

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of client work in areas such as:
    • Drafting reports, strategies, assessments, and other written deliverables
    • Creating presentations and visuals that effectively communicate client requirements
    • Developing, organizing, and executing both in-person and virtual training and delivery workshops
    • Researching and analyzing federal legislation, policy, and agency documentation
    • Identifying, evaluating, and recommending emerging technology solutions using both open source and proprietary data sources
  • Work with program managers to ensure delivery meets contractual requirements, including cost and schedule
  • Coordinate with delivery team and sales team on upsell and expansion opportunities
  • Represent at conferences, events, and meetings with leaders from government, and industry
  • Help grow network of government innovators by building and maintaining relationships with government stakeholders

Required qualifications include:

  • 2-5 years of work experience; preferably some experience working within DoD or the Army
  • Prior experience delivering client-facing client work and developing effective communications collateral
  • The ability to work without being closely managed and continuously WOW
  • Strong interest and exposure to in one or more of the following areas: government contracting and acquisitions, government finance and budgeting, processes re-engineering, organizational design, policy, government culture-change, data analytics/visualization, and/or communications materials
  • Exposure/experience in tech scouting
  • Understanding and comfort with agile project management
  • An ability to work independently and with a team to meet client deadlines
  • An ability to listen to clients and discern needs
  • A willingness and ability to support operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven problem-solving, self-management, and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A willingness to work in an environment that is welcoming, open, transparent, curious, collaborative, challenging, results-driven, and fun!
