Requirements :
- Graduation in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and Industrial Design Engineering;
- Not currently a Volvo employee;
- To have graduated no more than 18 months ago;
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Activities :
- Support the design and development of BIW stamped and welded parts;
- Learning from other sites, best practices of BIW parts development and bring to our local site;
- Develop experience in different types of materials and heating treatments;
- Acquire knowledge on legal and safety requirements, and how they are applied and validated during product development;
- Assist in identifying and solving process and quality issues related to stamping and welding;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (locally and globally), also including interface with Product Design area;
- Participate in meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions.
- Support documentation, benchmarking, and best practice sharing;
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design and manufacturing processes.
