Program Integrator

Program Integrators serve as critical conduits of information, alignment, and decision-making between the centralized Planning & Programs team and Functional Area (FA) planning teams. Theyoperateas central program managers with defined focus areas, whilealsoflexingoutside of those areasto address the highest-prioritycross-functionalrisks and issues to remove blockers and enabletimelydecision-making throughappropriate governancechannels.

As a Program Integrator, you will be at the center of LA28’s strategic initiativesdriving cross-functional integration, ensuring alignment across Functional Areas, and translating complex inputs into clear, actionable plans. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner closely with leaders across the organization and contribute to the delivery of one of the most significant global events.

This roleis responsible forworking closely with Functional Area leaders, planners, and subject matter experts to ensure integrated planning,maintainsituational awareness of program status, and drive progress across interconnected workstreams.

Program Integrators report to a Portfolio Lead within the centralized Planning & Programs team and are accountable for tracking, managing, andensuringfulfillmentofcontracts within their assigned areas. This requires developing a strong understanding of goods, services, and delivery models to effectivelysupportdecisions and trade-offsfor each FA leader. Success in this role depends on strong relationships, sound judgment, and the ability to synthesize complex and sometimes conflicting information into aligned action

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist FA leaders with strategic and operational planning efforts. Aligning strategy,objectives, and key results to the plan for execution.
  • Use tracking of milestones, OKRS,risks,issuesand decisions to drive the right conversations toremove barriers forworking teams
  • Understand, communicate, and drive resolution fortrade-offsbetween scope, budget, and resources within yourfunctional areas.
  • Support and manage one or more functional area’s timelines, budget, and resource allocation by interfacing with the central planning,financeand people teams.
  • Act as a conduit of information, applying critical thinking to the informationavailableandassistingwith connecting functional areas to the broader scope of the organization.
  • Partner withdepartmentfunctional arealead and procurement team toprovideoversight of the contracts in their area, ensuring compliance with contractual terms,monitoringof contract performance, managing risks associated with the contract andmaintainingrelationships with suppliers.
  • Collaborate withbusiness affairsand procurementto track and report progress on agreements in negotiation.
  • Create and contribute to reports and presentations tofacilitatesharing information, metrics,and progress related to the functionalareagoals.

Background & Requirements:

  • Experience working in Management Consulting or business analysis roles.
  • Ongoing professional development, certification,ortraining in program and project management, change management.
  • 7+years managingprojectsend to endwithproficiencyimplementing processes and standards.
  • 3+ years of managing contractsfor a department or teamthroughout their lifecycle and
  • Experience managing project budgets andresource loading.
  • Experience interfacing with senior leaders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management skills combined with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Broad generalist knowledge across the spectrum ofOlympic or ParalympicGames Deliveryorexperience inlarge events.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement risk mitigation plansand drive consensuswhen the path forward may be ambiguous.
  • Excellent data analysis,presentation preparation skills,andattention to detail.
  • Ability to adjust communication to a variety of audiences.
  • Expertisein using project management tools(Smartsheetexperience preferred)

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.
  • The majority ofwork will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
  • The LA28 office is anopen floorplanworking environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in anopen cubicleenvironment.
  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
  • Perform other duties asrequired; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000.00 - $130,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
