About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead program controls and delivery coordination across a portfolio of large-scale data center and AI infrastructure projects.
This is a high-impact role for an experienced program leader who can bring structure, visibility and accountability across multiple concurrent developments. You will be responsible for ensuring that complex construction programs remain aligned across schedule, cost, risk, procurement, design and commissioning.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities move quickly, decisions need to be made with incomplete information, and strong ownership is expected from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead program-level planning, controls and reporting across multiple concurrent large-scale data center projects.
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, ensuring project milestones, dependencies and critical-path activities remain aligned.
- Oversee cost and schedule performance, identifying potential variances and delivery risks before they impact key milestones.
- Establish consistent program controls, reporting standards and processes across multiple projects and delivery teams.
- Build executive-level reporting that provides clear visibility into project performance, risks, milestones, costs and forecast delivery.
- Develop and maintain integrated risk and opportunity registers, ensuring mitigation strategies are actively managed through to resolution.
- Coordinate closely with construction, design, procurement, commissioning and development teams to manage cross-functional dependencies.
- Identify schedule constraints, long-lead procurement risks, resource requirements and potential delivery bottlenecks.
- Support the development and implementation of standardized program management processes across a growing portfolio.
- Ensure project teams are working from accurate and current schedules, forecasts and performance data.
- Challenge project assumptions and identify opportunities to improve delivery timelines, cost efficiency and overall execution.
- Provide clear recommendations to senior leadership when projects face significant schedule, cost or delivery challenges.
- Support the onboarding of new projects into established program controls frameworks and reporting structures.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning, forecasting, reporting and project execution methodologies.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience managing large-scale capital projects or infrastructure programs with multiple projects running concurrently.
- Proven experience across program controls, scheduling, cost management and risk management.
- Strong understanding of integrated master scheduling and complex project dependencies.
- Experience managing programs where construction, procurement, engineering/design and commissioning activities must remain tightly coordinated.
- Demonstrated ability to identify schedule and cost risks early and develop practical mitigation strategies.
- Experience developing reporting frameworks and program controls processes from the ground up.
- Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex project information into clear decisions and actions.
- Ability to operate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups, including construction teams, engineers, contractors, procurement and senior executives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a highly detail-oriented approach to program delivery.
- Comfortable working in an environment where ownership, pace and accountability are critical.
Preferred Experience
- Data center, hyperscale, AI infrastructure, mission-critical or large-scale industrial construction experience.
- Experience managing multi-site or multi-billion-dollar capital programs.
- Advanced Primavera P6 experience or equivalent enterprise scheduling platform.
- Experience with earned value, cost forecasting or other formal project performance methodologies.
- Experience with modular, repeatable or standardized construction programs.
- Experience developing scalable program controls systems across multiple projects or regions.
- Experience working with major EPCs, general contractors, consultants and equipment suppliers.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to take ownership of the program controls function across some of the most significant infrastructure projects being developed to support the next generation of AI and high-performance computing.
You will have significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence how large-scale projects are planned, controlled and delivered — with the autonomy to build processes, challenge existing approaches and drive measurable improvements in project execution.
The ideal candidate is not simply a project administrator or scheduler. They are a program leader who understands how schedule, cost, procurement, construction and risk interact — and knows how to turn that information into better decisions and faster delivery.
