We are seeking a senior Program Manager to lead a strategic data platform migration and the development of a new calculation engine on Databricks.
This role combines program leadership and technical expertise . The successful candidate will define the roadmap, drive architecture direction, and lead an offshore delivery team to execute a complex migration and platform modernization program.
Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of a large-scale data platform migration.
- Define migration strategy, roadmap, timelines, risks, and budget.
- Drive the design and implementation of a Databricks-based calculation engine.
- Provide technical direction on architecture, data pipelines, and engineering best practices.
- Ensure CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, documentation, and cost governance are embedded in the solution.
- Conduct assessment and migration planning for legacy applications and data workloads.
- Manage senior stakeholders and oversee offshore delivery teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Program or Delivery Management experience.
- Proven experience delivering data platform migrations or cloud transformation programs.
- Strong technical understanding of Databricks, data engineering, and platform architecture.
- Ability to challenge and guide engineering teams on technical decisions.
- Experience managing offshore or distributed delivery teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with calculation engines, rules engines, or segmentation platforms.
- Exposure to Salesforce, Heroku, or Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
- Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services background.
- Mandarin and/or French would be an advantage.
