Senior Program Manager
Metropolitan State University (MSU Denver) is currently seeking a Senior Program Manager in the Department of Computer Sciences. The position exists to provide technical, student, and administrative program management for the department. This position requires the individual to execute, manage, and oversee various academic department functions regarding degree programs and student services. Responsibilities include understanding and managing processes for employment hiring and contracts, office budget and expenses, course scheduling, and other general office responsibilities as detailed in the Responsibilities section below.
The Senior Program Manager is also responsible for the supervision of the front office staff to greet and provide information to students and guests to the Department of Computer Sciences. This is a multi-faceted role that requires the ability to prioritize workflow, an aptitude for learning new systems and tools, and a strong ability to work and communicate with others. The successful candidate must have well-developed interpersonal skills, customer service experience, and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.

Salary for Announcement
Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
The anticipated hiring range that the university reasonably expects to pay for this position is $64,000 - $74,000.
This position is paid monthly and is eligible for MSU Denver benefits.
