Project Coordinator | Program Manager | Engineering Programs

Swoon is working with an industry-leading engineering company that's adding Project Coordinator/Program Managers to support growing product development initiatives. They're looking for someone who can step into fast-moving engineering programs, create structure where it's needed, keep cross-functional teams aligned, and prevent small issues from becoming project delays.
This is a highly visible role where you'll own project schedules, facilitate planning meetings, coordinate engineering and manufacturing stakeholders, track risks and dependencies, and help drive programs from planning through execution.
Responsibilities:
• Build, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project
• Lead recurring project, planning, and cross-functional meetings while driving action items to completion
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, supplier, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, scope changes, budgets, and timelines, escalating issues before they impact delivery
• Maintain project documentation including risk registers, action logs, work plans, and status reports
• Analyze schedule performance and develop recovery plans when projects begin to slip
• Communicate project status and key updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Must-Haves:
• 2-4 years of Project or Program Management experience
• Experience building and owning project schedules in Microsoft Project
• Strong meeting facilitation and stakeholder communication skills
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and driving projects to completion
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to work onsite five days per week.
Nice to Have:
• Engineering, manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or product development experience
• Experience supporting technical or engineering organizations
• Familiarity with project controls, risk management, cost tracking, and scope management
• Experience facilitating large planning sessions or working directly with suppliers and engineering teams.
