Responsibilities
Provide direct supervision, ongoing evaluation, motivate workplace skills staff on a daily basis which include initial orientation and ongoing coaching; oversee and follow-up on member appeals, and create and execute weekly staffing schedule
Manage and track enrollments for educational programs, outcomes and expenditures
Prepare accurate reports; analyze enrollment data, tuition costs, and spending
Coordinate and monitor college educational programs; function as the liaison with other departments, committees, schools
Coordinate and assist case managers in identifying students who are at risk of failing classes; coordinate tutoring as needed
Assist with student assessment, tracking and counseling; coordinate, facilitate, and mentor students to successfully complete the program
Coordinate and assist the development of new education programs and initiatives; keep track of various resources at the Training and Employment Funds and provide referrals as appropriate
Establish efficient and standardized work process in collaboration with Associate Director; identify and troubleshoot issues
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to provide quality educational curricula
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education, training, or equivalent years of work experience required, Masters Degree preferred
Minimum five (5) years experience in training, finance, or workforce development required
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with spreadsheets and database programs
Knowledge of higher education systems or experience counseling college students a must
Experience advancing the use of technology in adult education
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, follow-up, written and verbal communication skills
Available to work flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays as needed
