Title: Project Manager/Voice Infrastructure

Location: Jersey City, NJ/Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months with possible extension

Overview

We are seeking a highly structured and detail-oriented Digital Communication Retention engineer with strong expertise in regulatory SaaS technologies. The ideal candidate combines deep technical understanding with exceptional program management discipline and the ability to communicate effectively-both in writing and verbally-across all levels of a large enterprise.

This role drives complex, cross-functional initiatives that ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards for communication capture, retention, and supervision.


Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end program management for initiatives related to e-communications retention, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business requirements.

Partner with engineering, compliance, risk, legal, operations, and vendor teams to deliver well-structured, predictable execution across multiple workstreams.

Define program scope, success metrics, milestones, and governance frameworks; maintain detailed documentation, roadmaps, and status reporting.

Translate technical requirements into clear, actionable plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Oversee system integrations, platform migrations, and feature enhancements related to voice recording, archive systems, supervision tools, and compliance platforms.

Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies; drive timely mitigation and escalation processes.

Ensure all communication retention controls meet enterprise standards and relevant financial-industry regulations.

Facilitate effective communication across teams, including executive-level presentations, written summaries, and structured program materials.

Track and report progress using standardized project/program management methodologies

Drive full lifecycle management of voice and e-communications platforms, including planning for end-of-life (EOL) technology, coordinating upgrades, and ensuring proactive remediation for obsolete components.

Coordinate security vulnerability assessments, patch planning, and risk remediation across relevant systems, ensuring issues are prioritized and addressed within enterprise standards.

Establish and maintain lifecycle governance for retention technologies-including versioning, patch cycles, deprecation plans, and alignment with long-term architectural strategies.


Required Qualifications

5+ years experience in large-scale enterprise program or project management, preferably within technology or compliance-related domains.

Strong technical understanding of:

Voice recording systems

E-communication capture (email, messaging platforms, collaboration tools)

Data retention and archiving technologies

Demonstrated ability to deliver structured, well-organized program documentation and executive-level communication.

Excellent communication skills-able to explain technical concepts clearly and succinctly to diverse audiences.

Proven ability to work within highly matrixed organizations and drive outcomes across multiple teams.

Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating multi-party solution delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within the financial services industry, including exposure to regulatory frameworks

Familiarity with surveillance or supervision tools and compliance workflows.

Program management certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, CSM, SAFe, etc.).

Background working with global teams and large-scale enterprise platforms.
