As our Program Manager you’ll be reporting to our Director of Program Management and have the opportunity to support programs from inception through completion, while communicating effectively with internal customers and functional organizations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to the program team
Manage the performance of program functions - contract, finance, engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations
Identify and assess risk and opportunities with appropriate mitigating and capitalizing actions
Ensure that the programs/projects are on schedule to the program milestones
Manage budgets and update weekly, monthly, quarterly performance reviews
Present status and overall financial and schedule performance to internal customers
Forecast financial performance and staffing needs
Support contract negotiations, endorse final price/contract terms and resolve contract issues
Manage customer satisfaction
Special projects and miscellaneous duties, as needed or assigned
Working Conditions:
Office environment, moderate to quiet noise and not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Ability to work 24/7 schedule as business situations require. Some remote work possible.
Professionals:
Occasionally positions self to move an office item >10 lbs.
Frequently move about the production floor and office area to attend meetings or trainings
Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
Frequently operates a computer, enters data into systems, verifies information, etc.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technical or Business field
3 or more years of project, program or related experience
Lean Six Sigma Green belt preferred
Experience managing government contracts
Experience in budgeting, profit and loss management
Understanding of composite parts fabrication and knowledge of government contracting
