Program Manager – T&D / Substation
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of large scale, complex infrastructure programs from initiation through to close-out. This individual will oversee multidisciplinary teams, establish program governance and execution strategies, and drive performance across cost, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of program strategies to achieve established business objectives and client outcomes.
- Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring resources are effectively deployed to maximise efficiency and project performance.
- Oversee all phases of program delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and close-out.
- Implement and manage processes, procedures, and reporting frameworks to support successful program execution.
- Drive systems integration initiatives and establish robust data collection, analytics, and reporting capabilities to improve visibility of program performance, budget status, and schedule risks.
- Manage overall program budgets and control expenditure to ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Prepare and present regular financial updates, including revenue forecasts and performance reporting to senior leadership.
- Support business growth initiatives by identifying opportunities to expand services and strengthen client relationships.
- Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain high-performing team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing leadership, coaching, and guidance to staff.
- Promote adherence to organisational policies, quality standards, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements and maintain a strong focus on health and safety performance across all program activities.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support program success.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience within engineering, consulting, construction, or infrastructure environments.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams responsible for delivering major capital projects and programs.
- Experience managing programs with values exceeding $250 million is highly desirable.
- Strong client relationship management and business development capabilities.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects successfully while meeting financial objectives and performance targets.
- Exceptional leadership, facilitation, collaboration, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively to clients, executives, and project teams.
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including Microsoft Project or equivalent platforms.

- Compensation: competitive $180,000+ & bonus up to 40%
