Description:
We are seeking a Senior Program Manager for a 1-year contract, working fully remote with a preference for candidates based in Calgary, AB. This role is responsible for delivering a well-aligned, enterprise-wide technology strategy and multi-year roadmap, partnering with senior SMEs across business and IT functions. The successful candidate will synthesize complex inputs into clear recommendations for executive leadership (ELT), drive cross-functional alignment, and oversee full project lifecycle delivery—from scope and planning through execution, reporting, and post-project evaluation—ensuring outcomes align with evolving organizational priorities.
Must haves:
- 10+ years of business project/program management experience
- Proven leadership experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Strong background in enterprise technology strategy and roadmap development
- Experience working with financial systems and knowledge of accounting practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP or PeopleSoft
- Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP or equivalent certification required)
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills (including ELT-level engagement)
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and scope changes effectively
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
